I've been watching Season Three on DVD recently, and since it will be at
least a month before I can afford to pick up Season Four, I'm trying to
remember. I was watching back then, but I don't remember if they ever
found out who Mark's attacker was.

Thanks. Guess it really was a random act. My guess would be the guy who
accused the hospital of killing his brother and refused to pay the bill,
only subsequent episodes say the police checked him out and he didn't do
it.
