Viewers have fled what used to be the Peacock's "Must See TV."

They were never able to replace Friends, Fraser, and ER as the shows
departed. The only show worthy of anchoring Must See TV anchoring was
The Office, but without the second anchor, there wasn't a reason to
Must See the evening, especially once DVRs could pick off shows and
CBS stole their thunder with Survivor and The Big Bang Theory.

Easier said than done. They should forget about comedies on Thursday
once and for all, just give it a rest already, because not only are
their current comedies all in a comatose state, but none of what
they've got to choose from for next season looks anywhere near strong
enough to withstand another Thursday night battering. That leaves a
night for action and/or crime shows and/or dramas or a composite of
all three, but it would need to be anchored by a veteran show and the
only one that could be is L&O: SVU, probably best slipped in at 9
pm..
