What I do not understand is why are they bringing these old characters
back for like a 5 second spot? Mark at least got a whole episode about
him.And he's dead! I agree Alex Kingston looked bored! If this is how
they are going to treat the past characters, then maybe George should
not come back! I can see that Romano and Greene were seen in
flashbacks as they are both dead. But Elizabeth could have come by to
visist the hospital. And since when did she and Neela even know each
other? If my memory is correct, Neella came after she left. And Neela
did not even know about Ella. If I am wrong please correct me.
And I am a bit confused about the point of this episode! I mean the
patients died in every redo so what was the point exactly? It was
boring.
And wasn't Benton supposed to be in this episode? If he was I missed
him.And what was the point of all these people on the stairs when she
goes down them? First it was a monk, then a ballerina? Was there is a
point to that? ER is running ouf of ideas and fast!

I think that was her character's reaction to Neela not knowing what
she wanted. The indecision she displayed, not knowing what she
wanted, not leaving County so she would be "Little Neela" anymore and
get the respect due her elsewhere. It got her dismayed. Anyway, I am
sure Alex Kingston-who looked nice by the way-read the script and
knew how big a part she had.

She still can but Neela will have to call her in England.

Sorry, your memory is not correct. Elisabeth Corday came in Season 4
in September 1997 and left at the near the end of season 11 in Spring
of 2005. Neela came in season 10 in September 2003 so they were
together for two seasons. I remember the first meeting, they
commented on what neighborhoods in London they were from while
wheeling a patient hurried to the ER.

I guess you wasn't watching closely. Both were saved at the end. The
point, as I can see it, was that you can't be responsible for
everything. Rely on others. Don't put the world on your shoulders,
that is what Neela's subconscious told her.

Not this one. He is supposed to direct and episode and later appear
in a different one later this season. Which ones haven't been
revealed to my knowledge.

Actually it was all a dream. A monk, a soldier, and a ballerina. To
the best of my reading, the monk symbolized the fate she has in her
hands but she can't rush things, they will come in time, but she
still is control of her fate; the soldier was the discipline to make
a decision to guide her fate. I have yet to figure out exactly what
was the ballerina was for, maybe to just go with what you feel is
right about your fate. It was her subconscious mind trying to work
out what she wanted in life. So Elizabeth wasn't there. It was a
desire for guidance from a friend she respected and wanted advice
from. "Little Neela" that Corday was referring to is the resentment
she feels internally. The guy with the smart ass comments in the
elevator was supposed to give her motivation as was her conversations
with Lucien Dubenko, which was also her wish for him to take her
opinions seriously; and she didn't sleep with Simon Brenner, Ray
calling her I guess was him pursuing her, but her putting him off is
her reluctance to confront the issue. It was all symbolic. None of it
happened.
