I liked the overly-long set-up that climaxed with the patient being
splatted against the MRI with the gurney (that is, I liked the payoff
rather than the overly-long set-up). And I liked Cate putting the
smackdown on Neela and Morris about their "teaching" styles. IMO, the
"plucky junior versus the attending" schtick was annoying when Carter
did it, it was annoying when Abby did it, and it was annoying tonight
when Neela did it.

Aside from that... meh.

Must be a crappy alloy of stainless steel. The best stainless steels aren't magnetic.

But Abby is the only one who ever got away with it. In fact, it was
celebrated.

I like Cate, but her style is irritating.

I like Cate's irritating style, but she irritates me. I think it's her
style.

No, wait, it's a rash. Never mind.

She is obviously over compensating for something. Perhaps we will
find out next week in the flashback episode with Dr. Greene if the
preview is any judge.

Speaking of next week, the television ad I've been seeing since, I
dunno, Friday, for this (or next?) week says something about a secret.

I KNOW this is crazy, but what if Greene didn't really die?

Angela Bassett's character is in the ad, too, and it looks like Green
and Bassett's character are working together at County. Granted, it
COULD BE a flashback to a time when they DID work together, but what if
it's not??

Believe me, it's a flashback! (But from the ad & seeing how Mark/
Anthony looks EXACTLY THE SAME, I could see what you're sayin' Cory!)

I have no spoiler information, but from what I've seen in the ad and one
small article, I believe it has something to do with Cate having her child
be a patient at the ER and Greene is the attending... ?

I am answering this after the show has aired because I have just seen
it, so it is not really fair but ER is based close to our reality. No
miracle resurrections as there are in "Battlestar Galactica", Lost or
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

Again, answering after the fact, no. Again, ER is based very close to
our reality only slightly exaggerated for drama sake, so no time
travel or resurrections. Patient dies she/he is dead. The most you
will get is dream sequences and in this case flashback to the year
2001.
