I thought that Susan Lewis had previously been married to Chuck, but in the
last episode she introduced him to her dad apparently for the first time.
Maybe I misunderstood? ;)

Susan married Chuck in Las Vegas but never told Dad and had the marriage
annulled after they got back. They were going to end it, then she realized
that she really was falling in love with him; or at least felt something for
him -- when she thought he was in the helicopter that crashed on top of
Romano. He was supposed to have been the flight nurse. Now, of course, she
is pregnant with his child, so they decided to tell her father.

They were married but both were drunk at the time. They had the marriage
annulled. So I guess, technically, they weren't ever married since an
annullment means the "marriage" wasn't valid for some reason. But we all
know they were. ;-)

They were married. They later decided to get the marriage annulled but
couldn't leave each other alone. Ahhh, the enigma that is
love...........;-)

IIRC, Susan and Chuck eloped the first time around (I *think* they had
just literally met each other, like, the day before they got married).
Anyway, Susan hadn't introduced Chuck to her family by the time the
first wedding happened. I guess she never got around to introducing
him to her dad until now.

They didn't elope, in the traditional sense. It was a Dharma and
greg kind of deal. susan was in Las vegas on vacation and she and
chuck were supposed to go on a date. they got plastered and decided
to get married. Upon returning to county they had made plans to get
the marriage annuled.

But then Chuck didn't get the marriage annuled and also didn't tell Susan,
because he was really still in love with her, and then when he told her, she
was so angry that when she filled out the annulment form, she said that he
had lied about his sexual preference, that he was mentally unstable, that he
was an intravenous drug user (heroin and crack) and that he was unable to
consummate the marriage. The judge got really mad at them when it turned
out that everything on the form was false, and told them they'd have to get
a divorce. That depressed Chuck, because he didn't want to be the guy with
three divorces, but they eventually did get divorced after some more
humorous complications.

You're making this up, right? I'm a loyal ER watcher and I don't think I've
missed an episode in years. I don't recall any such scenes. In fact, the
only courtroom scenes I can recall in the entire history of the show are the
ones where Benton is fighting for custody of his 'son'. (I'm using the
quotes because Reese turned out not to be his biological son.)

Does it sound like something I made up? I guarantee you that something like
what I said did happen on NBC, well, maybe it wasn't on ER exactly now that
I think about it, but within a couple hours of ER anyway.

What you posted happened on FRIENDS not ER.

She married him during a wild time in Vegas I think in a previous episode.
They anulled the mariage but started seeing each other. I'm not sure that
her dad was aware of her whirlwind broken mariage ;)

They ran off and got married after a night of drinking and then divorced
but continued seeing each other. She had never previously introduced him
to her father. The hospital people only know him because he works in the
medical arena also.
