1. Jerry has an opportunity to look foolish, but somehow avoids it.
2. Carter dates a woman who does NOT have blond hair.
3. One of the doctors orders tests, but they don't arrive for hours
(after the show ends -the spoiler for next week "Damn it Carter! Where
is that CAT scan!!)
4. Jeannie treats a patient who appears to be critically ill, but it
turns out to be just the flu.
5. Dr. Ross gets in trouble and actually gets canned (maybe that's the
way he'll leave the show?)

The British version ("Casualty" and "Holby") are still going. One of
the recent storylines was a junior doctor with a brain tumour who was
working because it had stopped growing, but suddenly it started growing
again so she had to have brain surgery and died on the operating table
... then turned up as a detective in the final season of "Scott &
Bailey". :-)
